it's not that close to christmas

Well I have got some bad news, I lost a friend of over 20 years last night/this morning; it was such a loss and I can't even imagine how his mother feels; an I known his mother for a long time. The only thing I know to say; is pray to whoever you pray too for the his family and to send good karma too them. But Christmas is the time for people to come together and celebrate a time for coming together. An in the immortal worlds of the Beatles "come together right now over me" ha-ha. As I sit here for the past few days, I think it's not that close to Christmas and it looks like I see so many people having problems; seems like the Christmas spirit isn't as strong as it once was. I think we need to take back, the Christmas spirit and bring it home. Some of the things I love doing is decorating Christmas trees, cooking Christmas dinners and so much more. Still not sure how I'm gonna afford Christmas, but hey who can with this economy; but like most I will find a way to do it. The most important thing I am trying to say here no matter how hard things are, is that we need to have a strong hold on a little thing called hope and love. Those are the things that binds us together, is love and hope. I mean we should do that year round, but this is Christmas; this is the time of year we all need to come together and really think of the people that may not have it as good as the ones that do are doing a a little better.
